“What is it to be on the other side of a wall of prejudice, racism, misunderstanding, and artificially imposed difference? Though a concrete wall across the entirety of the United State’s southern border does not yet exist, systems of injustice and oppression are already in place, inflicting physical and psychological damage in various ways. The #notwhite collective aims to dig deep into these systems and open up the discussion on cultural identity so that understanding can begin.”
